Vagelos Education Center
Since it opened in 2016, the Vagelos Education Center has won multiple awards for its innovative design. We cater to all non-curricular events held in the Roy and Diana Vagelos Education Center, including the large fourth-floor space and smaller spaces throughout the building.
Space Summary
- 4th Floor (Room 401)
- This floor features sliding walls, which can partially enclose the space, creating more privacy while preserving breathtaking views of the city to the south and east.
- Depending on the set-up, the room can accommodate up to 200 people.
- The room is equipped with audiovisual capabilities, including a projector and screen.
- 30-person and 60-person classrooms
- Located on the north sides of the 4th, 9th, 12th, 13th, and 14th floors
- 15-person conference rooms
- Located on the 7th, 8th, 9th, 12th, and 13th floors, with an additional 12-person room on the 14th floor.
- Auditorium (Room 201)
- The auditorium seats 265 and, in addition to being designed for optimal acoustic performance, features audiovisual capabilities.
- Please note that no food may be served within the auditorium. We are happy to help arrange a pre- or post-event reception space for food and drinks.
- Lobby
- Because the first floor lobby is a highly trafficked space, events are approved on a case-by-case basis.
Event Support
We can coordinate all catering, furniture, set-up, custodial services, audiovisual, linens, flowers, and specialty requests.
