February is Black History Month, and we are celebrating African American physicians, dentists, nurses, and researchers at CUIMC who are helping to improve the health of the nation.
A recent report about a fleeting fitness craze from the 70s may have revealed the identity of the first African American physician at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Five employees and a student group were recognized for their contributions to the medical school's workplace and community.
