Dr. Engle is an Assistant Professor of Medical Psychology and co-chair of the Well-Being Committee in Psychiatry at CUIMC, where she also supervises pre-doctoral psychology interns and staff and teaches group therapy to medical students within Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.

At the New York State Psychiatric Institute, she is involved in eating disorders research, including psychotherapy development studies for adults with anorexia nervosa. She provides training and supervision in cognitive behavioral therapy and group interventions and writes about topics related to evidence-based psychotherapy for the lay public.
