CUIMC Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
We are committed to the well-being and success of all community members. Columbia complies with all applicable civil rights laws and does not engage in illegal preferences or discrimination.
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are voluntary groups of employees who form together based on shared characteristics or life experiences to nurture employee well-being and engagement. Community is vital to CUIMC’s ability to grow and innovate in such a fast-changing environment. ERGs are an integral component of the medical center’s commitment to employee well-being. Participation in ERGs may provide long-term business benefits for the medical center and professional and personal development for the participants.
Employee networks have the potential to grow and function at both operational and strategic levels.
ERGs* will support Columbia University’s commitment to employee well-being through their efforts in the workplace and community. All faculty and staff at Columbia University Irving Medical Center are invited to join/create an Employee Resource Group.
