The “Writing Specific Aims” workshop is designed for researchers who plan to submit an R or K NIH grant in time for the October 6 (R01) or October 13 (K) deadline. Applicants resubmitting applications (November 5 for the R01 and November 12 for K awards) are also welcome to attend.
During this workshop, attendees will participate in a live session where drafts of Specific Aims pages submitted by attendees are reviewed. Participants are required to watch this pre-recorded lecture with useful tips on writing Specific Aims prior to the start of the workshop. Instructors in the live session will assume participants have a foundational knowledge of writing Specific Aims.
About the Series:
The GRANTWISE Seminar Series (GRANT Writing and Information Sessions for Enhancing Knowledge About Grant Elements) provides grantsmanship tips that are applicable to all applications, as well as an overview of NIH grant opportunities that are specific to ESI faculty and trainees. This workshop will be repeated to coincide with other NIH standard due dates.
