CUIMC Celebrates Lunar New Year

On Feb. 26, faculty, students, and staff across the medical center celebrated the Lunar New Year with traditional games, treats, and a lion dance performance by the Columbia University Lion Dance troupe.

The event was sponsored by the Asian and Pacific Islander Employee Resource Group at CUIMC, the Columbia University Asian Faculty Association, and the Asian Nursing Students at Columbia.
The Lunar New Year celebration symbolizes a fresh start with good luck and prosperity.
