This year we are celebrating the Year of the Horse with a lion dance performance, sharing different cultural traditions, interactive activities, and delicious bites. Join us on Thursday, February 26th from 4-7 pm at the CUSON rooftop!
Lunar New Year is one of the most important celebrations of the year among East and Southeast Asian cultures, including Chinese, Vietnamese, and Korean communities, among others. The New Year celebration is usually celebrated for multiple days. The holiday falls on the second new moon after the winter solstice. This year is the Year of the Horse, specifically, Fire Horse, representing energy, freedom, and forward momentum.
This event is open to all CU ID holders, registration is required.
A virtual option will be provided to all who register.
