Guest Parking Requests

Single-Day Visitor Parking

Subject to availability, CUIMC departments may request single-day parking for guests visiting the medical center for official University business.

Cost

  • Rate: $35 per vehicle, per day

Eligible Guests

Examples include:

  • Donors
  • Guest speakers
  • Potential recruits

Guest parking is not available for Columbia employees commuting to campus.

How to Apply

  • Request process: Submit your guest parking request online at least 72 hours before arrival
  • Processing time: Response provided by the next business day

Important Information

  • Approved requests are non-refundable and cannot be canceled
  • Confirmation email will include the assigned parking location

Special Event Parking

We accept group parking requests for after-hours or weekend special events only. 

Cost

  • Rate: $650 per event includes up to 40 vehicles
  • Additional vehicles: $35 per vehicle over the 40-vehicle limit

How to Apply

To apply for special event parking, please submit the following information to: cumc.parking@cumc.columbia.edu

  • Event date and time
  • Contact information
  • ARC chartstring
  • Number of guests and guest names

Important Information

  • Due to the high demand for on-site parking, we will only consider group parking requests for after-hours or weekend special events.
  • Special event parking approvals are non-refundable and cannot be canceled once confirmed

NewYork-Presbyterian Parking

NewYork-Presbyterian's parking garage is located at 115 Fort Washington Avenue, between 164th and 165th streets. The garage is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and is managed by the NYP Parking Office.

NYP employees should contact the NYP Parking Office directly for their parking needs.
