College of Dental Medicine

Predoctoral Class Day recognizes students in the graduating class who are receiving special honors.

• Date: Wednesday, May 21, 4:30 to 6 p.m. (guest admittance begins at 3:30 p.m.)
• Location: Alumni Auditorium
• Reception in the Schaefer Gallery immediately following the ceremony

The predoctoral graduation ceremony celebrates the accomplishments of graduating predoctoral students from the College of Dental Medicine.

• Date: Thursday, May 22, 10:30 a.m. (guest admittance begins at 9 a.m.)
• Location: The Armory, 216 Fort Washington Ave. at 168th Street
• Speaker: Karen P. West, DMD, MPH, president and CEO of American Dental Education Association

The postdoctoral graduation ceremony celebrates the accomplishments of graduating postdoctoral students and residents from specialty programs and NYP residency programs at the College of Dental Medicine.

• Date: Thursday, May 22, 3 p.m. (guest admittance begins at 2 p.m.)
• Location: The Armory, 216 Fort Washington Ave. at 168th Street

Mailman School of Public Health

Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health will celebrate graduates at the Class Day ceremony.

• Date: Tuesday, May 20, from 4 to 7 p.m.

• Speaker: Vivek Murthy, MD, former surgeon general of the United States

Columbia Nursing will celebrate graduates from February, May, and October 2025.

This ceremony will recognize graduates earning Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biomedical Sciences degrees.
