Tell Your Co-Workers ‘Great Job’ for Their EpicTogether Work

Every corner of our organization has someone taking on extra responsibilities to ensure a successful implementation of our EpicTogether project. The ColumbiaDoctors Epic Recognition Program aims to complement the EpicTogether Amazing Awards and the Readiness Agent Network Recognition. It’s a chance to mix some fun into the additional work that is driving improved care and convenience for our patients.

The ColumbiaDoctors Epic Recognition program has three levels: Early Adopters, Trained and Ready, and Epic Excellence.

Early Adopters

These are our Specialist Trainers, Credentialed Trainers, Subject Matter Experts, Charge Champions, the Clinical Leadership Group, the Clinical Operational Readiness Committee or CORe, ARCR, and others. They are helping the organization prepare for go-live by charting workflows, getting extra training, being on hand to help, and much more.

Trained and Ready

We don’t want the training milestones to pass without a little celebration so, as you become Epic ready expect to receive your EpicTogether lanyard.

Epic Excellence

This is your chance to say “great job” to those going above and beyond in their contributions to the EpicTogether project. Leadership will evaluate those nominated and recognize the work with additional honors. If you know of an individual or team deserving Epic Excellence recognition, fill out this brief survey. You will be asked to provide names and a short write-up of the nominee’s contributions to the EpicTogether implementation. ColumbiaDoctors Chief Medical Officer Shunichi “Nick” Homma, MD, will lead the review committee, will share a certificate of recognition, feature stories on the work, and more. Epic Excellence can recognize a variety of efforts including:

  • Contributions to mission-critical work
  • Great ideas for addressing workflows in Epic
  • Creating a smart set that helps the team

This employee recognition program is just one way to support the culture change that we are experiencing with the implementation of EpicTogether. We value your engagement and hope this serves as a small token of our appreciation for all you are undertaking.
