Regarding the crisis in Israel

Dear Colleagues,

The terrible violence and loss of life we witnessed over the weekend following deadly attacks on Israel leave every one of us shaken and deeply concerned about the days ahead. The scale of the conflict engulfing Israel and Gaza and the impact on innocent civilians are horrifying. Those of us with friends, loved ones, or colleagues in the region are worrying about their safety and feel this especially acutely. This is a time for us to come together and to embrace each other with compassion and empathy.

CopeColumbia and Student Health on Haven are resources that you can access for a variety of individual services, counseling and support, and we encourage you to make use of these services. We will be carefully monitoring the situation and will continue to provide appropriate resources in the coming days and weeks to all those in our community who are in need.

Sincerely,
