New VP&S Faculty

The VP&S Office of Faculty Affairs has provided this list of full-time faculty who joined the medical school in October 2023. 

Karan Dua, MD, Orthopedic Surgery

Rohit Gupta, DO, Medicine: Gupta is a gastroenterologist who focuses on general GI and hepatobiliary medicine. His clinical interests include expanding screening colonoscopy access and improving patient education for complex liver disease with an emphasis on collaborative care.

Alessandra Hirsch, MD, Obstetrics & Gynecology: Hirsch’s interests include advocacy, with a focus on reproductive justice, and writing for the lay press.

Natalie Javadi, PhD, Psychiatry: Javadi joined the child and adolescent psychiatry faculty after completing her postdoctoral fellowship at the Columbia University Clinic for Anxiety and Related Disorders and ABC Early Childhood Program. She is now a clinical psychologist within the ABC Early Childhood Program and a research associate within the lab of Kate Fitzgerald.

Adil Haleem Khan, MBBS, Surgery: Kahn is a colorectal surgeon whose clinical interests include diverticulitis, colorectal cancers, and pelvic floor disorders. He also is interested in student and resident education through simulation-based learning. 

Anna W. Maro, MD, Medicine

Tamna Wangjam, MD, Medicine: Wangjam is a hematologist-oncologist who specializes in the care of blood disorders and other conditions with hematopoietic stem cell transplant and cellular therapy.
