Join me for the next VP&S Open Forum on June 5

Dear Colleagues:

I am writing to invite you to the second of our new quarterly VP&S Open Forums, a regular series I am leading to discuss our priorities and needs. It will be held in Alumni Auditorium at 8 a.m. on Monday, June 5.

The forum will provide updates on the VP&S strategic planning process and the Vagelos Institute for Biomedical Research Education. We will also hear from Lou Baptista, chief well-being officer, about the CUIMC Well-Being Survey results and next steps he shared last week. Jonathan Touson, associate vice dean for organization strategy & development, will provide updates on the Simple is Better program and administrative career pathways.

A virtual option is available for those unable to attend in person. Please register here and submit any questions or comments you may have ahead of time. Your input is critically important to me as the VP&S strategic planning effort and its supporting initiatives come together, and these forums are an excellent opportunity to look inside the process and share your thoughts.

All my best,

Katrina Armstrong, MD
Dean of the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons
Executive Vice President for Health and Biomedical Sciences, Columbia University
