On Exhibit Now: People Whose Names Became Medical Terms

Ever wonder who Alzheimer, Apgar, or Huntington was? The exhibit “The Person Behind the Eponym: People Who Became Medical Terms,” curated by CUMC archivist Stephen Novak, features the noteworthy scientists and scholars behind many significant health–science discoveries and innovations.

On display on Lower Level 2 of the Hammer Health Sciences Center through Dec. 13, are historical documents and images from the Health Sciences Library’s Archives & Special Collections, providing a face and historical context for each name.
