WHO: Dr. Daniel P. Petrylak, associate professor of medicine and director of genitourinary oncology specializing in prostate and bladder cancer at Columbia University Medical Center will be on hand during the event to answer questions at the “Ask the Doctor” booth.

WHEN & WHERE: Saturday, August 28th, 2004, 9 a.m., Riverside Park at W. 83rd Street

WHY: Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in American men, yet is nearly 100 percent survivable if detected in its earliest stages. With no warning signs or symptoms, the only way to catch the disease early on is with regular screenings that include a simple blood test and physical exam.
