College Of Dental Medicine Offers New York City Children Free Checkup And Oral Health Lesson For National "Give Kids A Smile Day"

NEW YORK, NY – Hundreds of children from the New York area received free screenings, treatments and educational lessons from College of Dental Medicine faculty and students as part of the American Dental Association's national Give Kids a Smile Day on February 2. The New York event was part of Columbia’s Community DentCare program, which provides comprehensive dental care for children, adults and senior citizens in need at six school-based clinics and a mobile dental center in Washington Heights/Inwood and Harlem.
