Boo Who? Halloween Decorating at CUMC

Medical center students spent this week’s “crafternoon” decorating pumpkins to celebrate Halloween 2014.

Crafternoon sessions are among the activities sponsored by the Center for Student Wellness to promote personal and professional development of CUMC students. Other programs held regularly include pet therapy, yoga and pilates, and knitting instruction. The center also holds meditation sessions, talks about financial success, wellness appointments to address personal concerns, and hair donation events.

The Center for Student Wellness was established in 2002, first as a P&S center but later expanding to serve all CUMC students. The purpose of the center is to offer peer counseling resources and student-centered programs that reduce stress and provide academic support.
