COVID-19 Rehabilitation

Recovering from COVID-19 can be a gradual process. Symptoms like fatigue, weakness, shortness of breath, and brain fog may last several months, even after the acute illness resolves. In addition, some individuals may develop these symptoms weeks to months after first contracting COVID-19. It is common to have questions regarding this illness as symptoms linger.

Our outpatient COVID-19 Rehabilitation Program helps patients continue their recovery from this condition. Our team includes a rehabilitation doctor, as well as physical, occupational, and speech therapists. We are specialized in helping create an action plan with regard to exercise to help combat fatigue and brain fog.

Our COVID-19 Rehabilitation Services

The care we offer includes the following:

  • Aerobic exercise programs: We design individualized exercise programs to promote safe exercise without triggering exacerbating events.
  • Muscle strengthening exercises: These exercises address generalized muscle weakness and muscle loss that can occur after a lengthy hospital stay.
  • Activities of daily living: Our therapists will tailor exercises to help you safely complete your daily activities as you return home.
  • Cognitive therapy: To help with memory and brain fog, our speech therapists will provide exercises similar to those used by people who have had a concussion.
