Resources Update

May 3, 2024

Dear CUIMC Community,

As a complement to the University's community updates, we would like to remind you of CUIMC-specific health, safety, and well-being resources. We are here to support you as we advance our shared educational, research, and clinical and community health missions. The 168th campus is open, with regular operations.

To stay abreast of the latest University information, please visit this webpage which is regularly updated. If you have questions about CUIMC-related information, or have suggested resources for us to include, please reach out to leadership@cumc.columbia.edu

Course and final assessments

  • For the medical center community, courses and final assessments will continue as scheduled. Faculty are able to grant accommodations based on religious reasons, or approved disability accommodations.

Graduation-related activities

  • Many of you have asked about graduation-related activities on our campus, including the schools’ Class Day events. We are committed to ensuring that all ceremonies run smoothly, with a safe and respectful atmosphere for all in attendance. If there are any updates or changes, we will share them with you as soon as we can.
