Daniel Brodie is the Section Chief for Critical Care at the Milstein and Allen Hospitals, and Director of the Medical ICUs at the Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons and the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. He is also the Director of the Adult ECMO Program and the Director of the Center for Acute Respiratory Failure. He is the Chairman of the Executive Committee for the International ECMO Network (ECMONet), an organization dedicated to promoting high quality research in the field of ECMO. He is a primary or co-primary investigator for multiple ongoing and upcoming studies in ECMO. Dr. Brodie is on the Board of Directors and the Steering Committee of the Extracorporeal Life Support Organization (ELSO).
