Dr. Short earned her undergraduate degree from Fordham University and MD from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency and chief residency at University of Maryland Medical Center and her Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship training at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Medical Center. She is the Associate Program Director of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship. Her main clinical and research interests include Extracorporeal Life Support, mechanical ventilation, and medical education. She focuses on wellbeing and resilience within the intensive care unit.
