CCTI Researcher Dr. Karina Bruestle At ATC 2021

Dr. Karina Bruestle was selected for the 2021 Community of Transplant Scientists (COTS)  travel grant awards. These awards are selected off the ATC top 5 ranked abstract basic science list. This is for her presentation entitled Anti-CD8 Immuno-PET for Non-invasive Tracking of Early Graft Rejection in a Non-human Primate Kidney Transplant Model by authors K. Bruestle, R. Tavare, F. Fredriksson, E. Duggan, F. Huang, B. Bhola, J. Giurleo, R. Foster, P. Krueger, M. Dobosz, D. Ekanayake-Alper, H. Sakai, B. Piegari, J. Castrillion, S. M. Coley, O. Harari, A. Mintz, D. Ma, and A. Griesemer. Dr. Bruestle will present at the 2021 American Transplant Congress in the Plenary Oral Presentation, Sunday June 6th.

Also, "Anti-CD8 Immuno-PET for Non-invasive Tracking of Early Graft Rejection in a Non-human Primate Kidney Transplant Model" was chosen for the segment "Basic Science - What's hot what's new", a summary presentation given by Prof. Leonardo Riella (Chair of Transplantation, Massachusetts General Hospital) with the most impactful research work presented at ATC2021.
